Pain, psychological affect and stress in tension-type headache
The National Headache Foundation funded our follow-up study on tension-type headache in 2004. Our first self-funded headache study yielded promising results and the NHF provided means to verify and extend those initial findings.
Subjects are undergoing twice weekly massages for a six-week period where we will assess headache frequency, intensity, duration, as well as less tangible measures associated with headache including stress, depression, and anxiety.
