Prerequisites for Admission
Before applying to BCMT you will need to meet the following requirements:
 |
Possess a high school diploma or GED |
 |
Be at least 18 years of age by the date of enrollment |
 |
Be physically able to perform massage techniques |
 |
Have received at least two professional massages from a professional Massage Therapist or the BCMT Clinic |
How to Apply
To apply for the 1000-Hour and/or the Associate of Occupational Studies Program (AOS), please complete and submit the Application form (Download Application) for admission including:

Two essay responses (200-300 words) |
 |
Official Transcript of your most recent postsecondary degree. Instruct your college or high school to forward an official copy of your transcript or GED to the BCMT Admissions Office. (Transcript Request Form) |
 |
Recommendation letter from a professional reference (teacher, employer, massage therapist, etc.). |
 |
TB Test results from your doctor or local clinic. |
 |
Application Fee of $75.00. Check, money order or credit card is accepted. |
 |
If you require special accommodations due to learning/physical disabilities you will need to submit the Special Needs Form. |

Upon receipt of a complete application packet, the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a formal interview with a faculty member. Interviews are conducted in person, however, telephone interviews may be conducted for out-of-state applicants. You will be notified in writing of your acceptance status within two weeks of the interview.
After successful completion of the 1000-Hour Program, you will be eligible to enroll in the Associate of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy Degree Program.
