BCMT has alumni from over 21 countries such as Mexico, Iceland, Taiwan and Japan. For international applicants, we recommend submitting your application 6 months prior to the start of the quarter. You must also fill out the following International Student Admission form and submit it with your application.

M-1 Visa
BCMT will issue an I-20 form to you once you are accepted and register you with SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) which provides tracking, monitoring, and access to accurate and current information on non-immigrant students and exchange visitors. Once you have received the I-20 form you must apply for an M-1 visa by submitting the following:

  • The completed I-20
  • Application forms DS-156 and DS-158
  • A passport
  • One 2x2 photograph
  • A receipt for visa processing fee


You should also be prepared to provide:

  • Transcripts and diplomas from previous institutions attended
  • Scores from standardized tests (i.e. SAT, TOEFL, GRE, etc.)
  • Financial evidence showing you (or your sponsor) have sufficient funds available for self-support during the entire course of study: income tax documents, original bankbooks, or statements
  • You must also maintain a residence abroad which you have no intention of giving up

 

Transcripts
We accept international transcripts, diplomas, or certificates.

 

TOEFL
If English is your second language, please send scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), with a minimum total score of 500 on the written exam and 173 or higher on the computer exam. For more information about this test and how to prepare for it, write:
