Jessica
Name: Jessica M. King, CMT, AOS
Education: Boulder College of Massage Therapy, 1000-hour CMT, Associate Degree in Massage Therapy, Orthopedic and Sports Certification.
Work Experience: I have been in the medical field for 13 years. Both in management and patient care. I have had the privilege of working hands-on with patients in rehabilitation, utilizing all sorts of therapies. Everything from massage to electro-stimulation as well just holding a hand of someone in duress. My last 2 years have been spent in private practice as well as here at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in the admissions department. The best two years of my 20 years of work history!
My Practice: I have a private practice where I specialize in deep tissue work with attention to postural alignment and dysfunction. My training here gave me a certification in Orthopedic and Sports injury rehabilitation. However, I utilize all my tools from my training to access the body’s inner-self, both heart, soul, and mind. Because who is inside, attributes to what manifests itself outside.
A Few of my Favorite Things: I love to dance and travel. The best would be dancing while traveling; on a beach when it’s snowing and 80 degrees and the sun setting over the warm ocean with in iceberg floating in it, a bon fire in a sandy pit near by, with all my friends and family there and some awesome live band playing my favorite music from the stage that over looks the chocolate fountain with strawberry lily pads. An endless buffet of fabulous food and champagne. I have the perfect white sundress and amazing shoes that are lying in the sand, who wears shoes on a beach? Let’s be realistic.
