you could be here
As a graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy, I belong to the Alumni Association. One of the many benefits of this program is that you are able to receive job postings as they come in from potential employers who are specifically looking for BCMT graduates because of our exceptional training. Today, I received a posting for a job at a spa in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
The position is for a massage therapist and the pay is $3000 a month to start, working a 35 hour week. Not too shabby? Do you know what an amazing place Tortola is? Sun, beach, sand, sailing, reggae…I have been there a few times actually, and it is one of my favorite, friendliest islands in the Carribean.
As I daydream out of my office window, with a frigid, winter wind blowing, I think to myself should I take this job? Would my friends, family and co-workers disown me? Probably so….so fellow and future massage therapists out there….an awesome opportunity awaits. Adventure, explore, see the world. I love this profession!
