MASSAGE SCHOOL RESEARCH STUDIES
Massage School Research Studies Research at BCMT began in 2001, with a self-funded study and the goal of providing scientifically supported evidence to the practice of massage therapy. From this beginning, we have expanded our research program and have developed new research projects on various health concerns. Our research has been published in internationally renowned journals and we continue with our goal of conducting sound research studies to uncover the potential for massage as a therapy.
The Boulder College of Massage Therapy is a member of the Massage Therapy Research Consortium. This consortium consists of a group of 10 massage schools in the United States and Canada that are dedicated to conducting rigorous studies to better understand all aspects of massage.
